PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Two-Year Full-Time Residential Program

The M.B.A. (Food and Agri Business Management) is a two-year full-time residential programme aimed at developing professionals for India’s critical agriculture and food sectors. It integrates management fundamentals with sector-specific knowledge and hands-on learning. Students are trained in navigating agri-value chains, sustainable agriculture, rural enterprise development, and food processing industries.

Field immersions, industry projects, and stakeholder engagement provide students with a grounded understanding of rural economies, technology application, and market-driven strategies. The programme prepares graduates for roles in agribusiness firms, cooperatives, food companies, and development organizations.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must be a Graduate from any recognized University/Institution of National Importance.
A minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade is required for general candidates.
For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes, a minimum of 45% marks or an equivalent grade is acceptable.

Final Year Candidates:

Candidates appearing for final year examinations are eligible to apply.
However, admission is subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade (45% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).

Foreign University Graduates:

Candidates who have completed their qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.

Selection Process

The selection process for admission to the M.B.A Programs Batch 2027-29 is comprised of various components, each assigned a specific weight in the final merit list calculation. Weights for Final Merit List for Admission to M.B.A Programmes Batch 2027-29 SNAP Score out of 60 :- 50 marks Group Exercise (GE) :- 10 marks Personal Interaction (PI) :- 40 marks Total :- 100 marks
