Dr. Smriti Verma is a Senior Assistant Professor of Marketing at Symbiosis
Institute of Business Management, Nagpur, with over two decades of
experience in teaching, research, academic leadership, and institutional
development. She holds an MBA and a Ph.D., along with UGC NET
qualification in Management.
Her academic expertise spans consumer behaviour, brand management,
strategic marketing, technology-driven decision making, and social
enterprises and sustainability. She has played a key role in driving
academic excellence through leadership initiatives, international
collaborations, and institutional development.
Dr. Verma has held significant academic and administrative roles,
including facilitating international academic engagements and serving as
Adjunct Faculty at Konstanz University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and
the University of Vorarlberg, Austria. Her teaching portfolio includes
Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Organisational Behaviour, and Strategic
Management.
Her research contributions include 60+ publications, 3 edited books, and
15 case studies, many of which are indexed in reputed national and
international journals. She has also conducted multiple Management
Development Programs (MDPs) and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs). Her
corporate experience includes ERP and LMS implementation across
international markets. Her current research focuses on consumer insights,
responsible branding, and technology adoption in business decision-making.
