As part of the ongoing Faculty Seminar Series, SIBM Nagpur hosted an informative session led by Dr. Ganesh Rede, focusing on the relationships between Agriculture, Food Security, and Sustainability in the context of the UNDP’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Dr. Ganesh presented a Bibliometric Analysis based on research data from Scopus and Web of Science (WoS), covering the period from 2014 to May 2024. Using VOSviewer Software, the study mapped influential authors, institutions, and global research trends, emphasizing SDGs such as Climate Action, Zero Hunger, and Life on Land.
The seminar highlighted the leading roles of India, USA, and China in agricultural research and stressed the importance of sustainable practices and international collaboration to address global food security challenges. Also, the session underscored the need for sustainable agricultural practices and global collaboration to ensure long-term food availability and environmental conservation.
