Overview of Padanyas-25

The Padanyas-25 Induction Programme marked the beginning of the academic journey for the MBA Batch of 2025-27 at SIBM Nagpur. Conducted from 2nd June 2025 to 14th June 2025, the programme was thoughtfully designed to orient students towards academic rigor, professional expectations, and holistic development, ensuring a smooth transition into their management education.

The induction programme served as a strong foundation for newly admitted students by blending academic orientation with industry exposure, leadership development, and experiential learning. Through a series of interactive sessions, discussions, team-building exercises, and ice-breaking activities, students were encouraged to build confidence, collaboration, and leadership capabilities.

Industry & Academic Engagement

Padanyas-25 featured enriching sessions delivered by experienced industry professionals who shared practical insights and real-world perspectives across diverse domains.

  • Mr. Vinayak Darphe and Ms. Rushika Gaurkar from Japfa Comfeed India Pvt. Ltd., who spoke about workforce planning, recruitment practices, and the evolving role of human resources in contemporary organizations.

  • Mr. Prashant A. Bhonsle, Founder of Kuhoo Finance, Sachin Palsokar Co-Founder of Shinex Mosaic who shared his entrepreneurial journey and discussed innovation, financial inclusion, and decision-making in start-ups.

  • Ms. Sahityi Patole from Ather Energy and Ms. Ekta Waghmare from Acquia, who discussed recruitment trends, hiring for skills and cultural fit, and managing talent in fast-growing organizations.

  • Mr. Vinay Trivedi of TerraPay, Ms. Sudha Krishnan of Straive, and Ms. Surabhi Prakash Dixit of RBL Bank, who highlighted global HR practices, leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Mr. Prakash Rohera from The Redwood Edge, who emphasized the importance of soft skills, communication, and corporate readiness.

  • Mr. Sameer Jindal of MG Motor India Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Aditya Joshi of SA Tech, who shared insights on leadership, growth strategies, digital transformation, and innovation in modern businesses.

  • Mr. Ashwin Savé and Mr. Umesh Dasur from BiofuelCircle, who spoke on sustainability, green business models, and operations management.

  • Mr. Anshul Rana and Mr. Arif Khan from Nielsen, who discussed campus recruitment, employer branding, and preparing for corporate careers.

  • Ms. Madhumita Ganguli and Ms. Debarati Ghosh Banerjee from Henkel, who shared perspectives on talent management, business leadership, and organizational growth.

  • Mr. Girish V of Exide Industries Limited, Mr. Akhilesh Mishra of Nurture Farm, and Mr. Ketan, Founder of C2C Mentors, who addressed HR strategy, business alignment, professional ethics, and long-term career planning.

Students received hands-on exposure to advanced academic and analytical tools, including:

  • CMIE Prowess for financial and corporate analysis

  • Bloomberg Terminals for real-time market exposure and data-driven decision-making

  • Moodle Learning Management System for digital learning, collaboration, and academic engagement

These tools helped students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
