About us

Network is your net-worth, We ALMAT committee at SIBM – Nagpur believe in this statement and try to work towards building a strong bond between the institute and alumni of SIBM. We believe that by having a strong network and connection with the alumni we would be able to learn lot from their in-industry experience and real life learnings through their invaluable guest lectures, interactions and much more.

We also aim to give due credit to the notable alumni from the institute of SIBM, so that their accomplishments do not go unnoticed and their achievements keep motivating the current SIBM batch to achieve greatness in their career.

Aspirants Outreach Committee:

MISSON:

Providing a safe platform for guiding the aspirants and providing necessary support on their journey towards SIBM-N.

VISION:

ThThe Aspirant Outreach Committee aims to act as an interface between the current students of SIBM-N and the forthcoming aspirants of the new onboarding batch

OBEJCTIVES:

Assisting and executing the entire admission process.
Acting as the representative and evangelist for SIBM-N during the entire admission process.
Helping in providing easy facilitation of aspirants into SIBM-N culture.
Organizing a Buddy Program for aspirants who are facing difficulties.

VISION:

CorpConnect (Corporate Interface Committee) is an integral part of the management program. It follows a Student Centric Approach to meet the expectations of the corporate world. Guest lectures & interaction with industry experts are organized throughout the year in an effort to prepare students for Campus Selection.

MISSION:

The committee has evolved, through its active participation and continuous corporate interaction. The committee was formed with only one goal i.e. to conceptualize, promote & execute a series of events which will act as an appendage to the classroom learnings by helping SIBM Nagpur students to interact with experienced corporate and business leaders from various industries and across different verticals.

OBEJCTIVES:

The cell functions throughout the year towards expanding the institute’s corporate reach and increase placement and training opportunities for the students. It acts as an interface between the students, faculty, and the corporate world to sustain continuous interaction with the industry, share industry experiences, and understanding the industry needs. In its first year, the committee started 2 events – Café Illuminance & BizWiz. Both the events are platform for corporate leaders to share their insights and experience with students. Moreover, these events are also a part of an active endeavor by the committee to develop and maintain strong and fulfilling relationship with the corporates.

ABOUT US

A committee consisting of highly self-driven and dedicated students supervised by the Director of the Institute who work together selflessly and continuously for the overall institutional goal of getting the students placed in top companies and providing them with the offers in their preferred area of interest. The committee is also responsible to develop a long term sustainable relationship in the corporate sphere, maintaining and holding the college brand strong.

What do we mainly do?

• Assist students to understand their academic and career interests, their short and long-term goals through individual counselling & group sessions.

• Maintaining & regularly updating the database of students & companies.

• To put our best efforts & deliver necessary resources to facilitate the career development process and cater to other needs/activities of students & companies.

• To be the bridge between students, alumni, and the employment community.

• To assist students in obtaining placement in reputed companies.

• Organizing pre-placement training (Group Discussion/Interview Skills/Arranging mock Interviews)/workshops/seminars for students.
