Admissions
Candidate should be a Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).
Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).
A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

For Others : 135 seats ( 75 % )

Reservation of seats and fee concession for candidates domiciled in Nagpur:
A. Reservation for candidates domiciled in Nagpur: 25% (Twenty-five percent) seats are reserved for candidates domiciled in Nagpur.
Meaning of ‘Nagpur Domiciled’ Candidates for admission to PG and UG programmes:
PG programmes: ‘Nagpur Domiciled’ means persons, who are domiciled in Nagpur for a period of 5 (five) years as on the date of commencement of the academic year, and who have graduated from or are appearing for the qualifying examination of Nagpur University before admission to the programme.
Candidates applying under Nagpur quota will have to provide the domicile certificate provided by the Competent Authority and also the mark sheet of the last qualifying examination from Nagpur University to fulfill the eligibility norms. If at any time during the admissions process this information is proved to be incorrect, their admission shall stand liable to be cancelled irrespective of the stage the admission is in .
UG programmes: ‘Nagpur Domiciled’ means persons, who are domiciled in Nagpur for a period of 5 (five) years as on the date of commencement of the academic year, and who have passed or will be appearing for the qualifying examination of Class XII (or equivalent examination) conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)/ ICSE Board before admission to the programme.

In the event that any of the Nagpur Domicile Seats reserved pursuant to this sub- clause (ii) remain vacant such vacant seats shall be filled in the following manner:
B. Fee Concession:
SIU will provide a concession of 15% (Fifteen percent) on the Academic fees payable by the candidates referred to in paragraph A above. However, when the seats reserved for ‘Nagpur Domiciled’ candidates remain vacant; and are offered to ‘Non-Nagpur Domiciled’ candidates, such candidates shall NOT be entitled to the fee concession, being offered to the ‘Nagpur Domiciled’ candidates.
Definition of ‘Fees’ for the purpose of calculating the fee concession for ‘Nagpur Domiciled’ candidates
As per the Lease agreement with Nagpur Municipal Corporation, ‘Fee’ means the gross fees for admission, examinations, tuition and such other matters that may be levied on and payable by a user of the Project (student) from time to time in accordance with applicable law and the norms laid down by the University Grants Commission, and shall exclude payments which are in the nature of fines and penalties, and/or which are due in respect of accommodation, mess/catering, caution money (if refundable), entrance tests or application forms.
